Shot out to La Junta guest ranch!!! This weekend was my b day weekend so me and my family decide to travel and stay in a cabin (keep in mind I have a huge family) well out of all weekends this weekend happened to snow about 12"... on our way to the cabin we (me and my family followed each other) somehow took a wrong turn and ended up getting lost and stuck in the snow (we all got stuck no joke!) We had absolutely no one to call because we traveled from Artesia NM and knew no one in the area... I got ahold of Sheri Rodgers (the owner of the cabins) & let her know our situation not only did she send us a tow truck to get us all Unstuck from the snow but also took us up to the cabin in her personal vehicle so that we wouldn't get stuck again... like I said we have a huge family so Sheri made multiple trips up and down the mountain to not only bring the family up but all our belongings too(thank God for Sheri) and also not only did Sheri go out of her way to help our family out she also let us check out later then we were supposed to stay because of our situation so me and my family got to enjoy the snow and feed the deer in the morning!!! Thank you Sheri Rodgers for a not only going out of your way for my family even when you didnt have too but we really did enjoyed our stay at La Junta guest ranch we were all comfortable with plenty of room and had such a wonder time making unforgettable memories with my family(Beautiful scenery nice big comfortable cabin we had everything we needed).highly recommend La Junta guest ranch for everyone!!!

Loved the rooms the lodge the common area! Perfect for huge groups or small groups! Perfect mountain getaway and sherry was the icing on the cake! Will stay again!!!!
Loved the quiet of the surrounding woods. The rustic cabins with a huge fireplace to enjoy on chilly nights Sheri the manger is fantastic and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is stellar. Don't miss out by not having La Junta at the top of your list of places to stay
